Gonring to receive pro bono lifetime achievement award

Michael Gonring, partner in the Milwaukee office of Quarles & Brady LLP has received the Pro Bono Award for Lifetime Achievement from the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Legal Assistance Committee.

The Pro Bono Award for Lifetime Achievement recognizes lawyers and judges who go above and beyond the call of duty.
“Mike is everything that every lawyer should strive to be in terms of pro bono work,” said Katherine Perhach, a partner at Quarles & Brady who is involved in the Firm’s pro bono efforts. “It’s hard to put into words what Mike has meant to this Firm in terms of his guidance and leadership in the community, and he definitely inspires other attorneys.”
Gonring is a member of the Firm’s Product Liability, Toxic Tort and Personal Injury Litigation Group. He is the former chairman of the Delivery of Legal Services Committee for the Wisconsin Access to Justice Commission, serves as current chairman of the board of trustees for the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and is the Firm’s pro bono coordinator.
He earned both his law degree and undergraduate degree from Marquette University.
