Froedtert Hospital Foundation has opened registration for its 15th annual Desert Classic golf outing. The outing will take place Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Rio Verde Country Club in Rio Verde, Ariz. Proceeds from the outing will help support Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center.
This year’s event specifically targets the Small Stones Wellness Center, a unique place inside the Clinical Cancer Center that provides special services to enhance appearance, comfort and self-esteem for patients undergoing cancer treatment. The event has raised over $1 million that have benefited the Clinical Cancer Center in the past. The event fee is $450 per golfer and includes a special putting contest, lunch, 18 holes of golf on the newly designed Tom Lehman Quail Run course, and dinner and awards presentation.
