Generac expands product portfolio to include water pumps

Waukesha-based Generac Power Systems Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of engine-powered equipment and tools, announced that it is releasing a new product line of clean water and semi-trash pumps that will provide homeowners with solutions to basement floods and emergency cleanups.

The pumps are designed, engineered and manufactured to offer reliable water removal solution for homeowners, farmers, construction crews and others. They can resolve water transfer needs useful to homeowners, such as draining water from swimming pools and ponds to removing water from basements. Contractors and other professionals can use the pumps to remove water from farm fields or job sites.  

The water pumps’ design and packaging includes Easy Prime, a funnel and tethered priming cap design for quick and easy priming. It also includes graphic onboard instructions, color-coded discharge and suction ports with matching hoses and a complete accessory kit.

The water pumps are available at retail outlets, outdoor power equipment dealers, wholesalers and Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributor Association members.
