Waukesha-based Generac Holdings Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of backup power generation products, announced the closing of acquisition of all of the shares of Ottomotores UK Limited and its affiliates, which includes the operations of Ottomotores Mexico and Ottomotores Brazil.
As previously disclosed, the total purchase price paid for the acquisition was $46.5 million in cash, and is subject to certain net asset adjustments based on the closing balance sheet.
Founded in 1950, Ottomotores is a leader in the manufacture of generating sets in Mexico and Latin America with exports to Middle East, Far East, and Africa.
