Froedtert & MCW Workforce Health Occupational Medicine Clinic opens in Menomonee Falls

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Workforce Health recently opened a new occupational medicine clinic at its North Hills Health Center in Menomonee Falls. Workforce Health is a provider of wellness programming and health care services for employers.

The clinic will offer pre-placement physicals and testing, work injury treatment, preventive medicine and regulatory requirement evaluations. Located at W129 N7055 Northfield Drive, it will be open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Employers told us they want a local, dedicated occupational medicine clinic that is truly full service,” said Dr. Michael Borkowski, medical director of occupational health for the Froedtert & MCW health network. “Our clinic is designed to work with their business strategy, offering extended hours, a convenient location and a team of experienced occupational medicine professionals who understand population health management and the need to cost-effectively coordinate services.”

According to Borkowski, preventable workplace injuries result in thousands of lost hours annually.

“We get people back to work with a long-term view, combining injury management with prevention to help the employee understand how to stay healthy and prevent a recurrence,” he said.
