Franklin manufacturer to expand plant

Franklin-based Steele Solutions Inc., a manufacturer of steel structures, plans to build a 35,118-square-foot addition to its plant at 9909 S. 57th St. in the Franklin Industrial Park. Once the project is complete the facility will have a total of 76,505 square feet of space.

Steele Solutions designs and manufactures steel structures, including mezzanines, equipment platforms, towers, catwalks and crossovers for material handling, storage, conveyor, equipment and machinery support, and other industrial and commercial uses.

The company plans to have 96 employees after the expansion is complete.

A representative for the company could not be reached for comment.

The company, founded in 1996, has been named a MMAC Future 50 Master Mettle winner and in 2007 was named to the Inc. 5,000 Fasting Growing Companies in the U.S. list.
