Franklin manufacturer sells building for $2 million, expands

Meltric Corporation sold its 36,000 square foot building in the Franklin Business Park for $2 million to a Chinese investor from California.

Meltric, a manufacturer of industrial duty plugs and receptacles, recently constructed and moved into a 90,000 square foot building less than a mile away in the business park to accommodate growth, said Mark Schnoll, a broker with Colliers International.

Meltric Corp., is the North American headquarters for Paris, France-based Marechal Electric Group.

Drew Sylng Liu, general manager of Cisko LLC, purchased Meltric’s former building at 4640 Ironwood Drive.  The deal closed Oct. 5.

Schnoll and Jim Larkin brokered the deal for both the buyer and the seller.
