FOX VALLEY – Business services could drive local economic growth

While manufacturing often captures the eye of economic attention in Wisconsin, a statewide initiative and recently released data show jobs in business services — paralegals, designers, researchers — could yield long-term workforce growth.

Business services jobs grew by about 20 percent in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh-Neenah Metropolitan Statistical Areas between 2009 and 2014, according to New Geography data rankings of 322 metro areas nationwide.
