Former PNC Bank exec joins Mount Mary

Organizations:

Beth Wnuk has been named executive director of the Women’s Leadership Institute at Mount Mary College. Wnuk previously served as regional president of PNC Bank in southeastern Wisconsin.

“Beth’s business savvy is well-known in the community,” said Eileen Schwalbach, president of Mount Mary College. “What may be less known is her faith-based passion for ethical leadership and social justice – principles that are at the heart of the School Sisters of Notre Dame’s mission. We’re very fortunate to have Beth bringing her experience, talent and vision to this important position.
As executive director, Wnuk will oversee all aspects of the Women’s Leadership Institute including operations, strategic planning, communications, collaborative partnerships, advocacy and outreach. In support of Mount Mary’s Centennial year in 2013 and name change to University, she will also oversee the development of new programming to advance the College’s second century of developing leaders for social change. Wnuk will assume her new position at the end of July.
“I look forward to helping shape a working model that prepares future leaders with the skills they need to transform the organizations and communities they serve,” Wnuk said.
“Beth will be a great fit in this new role as she has already demonstrated a willingness to create and support career paths to leadership for young women in our community,” said Julia Taylor, president of the Greater Milwaukee Committee. “I have no doubt that her strong connections to business and community leaders and her reputation for integrity and value-driven ideas will produce some wonderful programs that will serve both Mount Mary’s Women’s Leadership Institute and our greater community very well.”
Wnuk will join current Women’s Leadership Institute staff members Tracy Milkowski and Rebecca Ruidl who have been providing ongoing programs and continuity for the Institute while a search was underway for a new executive director.
