The former Perkins restaurant building nearby the Corners of Brookfield has been sold to a Louisville-based restaurant operator. According to state records, the building — located at 585 N. Barker Road in the town of Brookfield — was sold for $2.1 million to BTB Real Estate, an affiliate of Louisville-based Manna Inc. It was acquired from members of the Alban family. The building has an assessed value of roughly $1.8 million, according to Waukesha County records. Manna did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment. According to Manna's LinkedIn page, the company is an affiliate of several restaurant concepts. Its affiliates operate 139 Wendy’s restaurants, 27 Golden Corral Buffet and Grill restaurants, 83 Fazoli’s restaurants, seven Blaze Pizza restaurants and six Mark’s Feed Store restaurants, among others. Its website lists job openings for restaurant locations throughout the metro Milwaukee area. Each Manna affiliate is a minority-owned company that focuses on fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion, the company's page states.
