Slinger Cheese LLC, which is registered to Ajit Walia of Brookfield, purchased 67 acres of farmland at Highway K, just east of I-94 from Denise Ustymowicz, of Racine, for $1.5 million, according to state records.

Slinger Cheese LLC also purchased Northwest Fashion Square at 8603-8665 W. Brown Deer Road near Northridge Mall from Raleigh, North Carolina-based NW Fashion, LLC for $1.6 million, according to state records.

The 122,843-square-foot property is located on 12.8 acres, according to the city’s website. State records show Walia purchased a 9-acre property.

Walia could not immediately be reached for comment.

In September, Walia closed the Park East Hotel and sold it for $9 million to a real estate investment group that includes Mike Klein, of Klein Development, and Derek Schneider, of Millennial Partners, who are planning to convert it into 96 luxury apartments.
