Fish for a good cause

McDonald’s Restaurants will donate 100 percent of all the proceeds from the sale of each Filet-O-Fish sandwich from 5 to 7 p.m. today to the Ronald McDonald House Charity of Eastern Wisconsin.
The promotion is expected to raise more than $50,000 for the cause.
In addition, customers who purchase a Filet-O-Fish sandwich at a regular price can get a second sandwich or large fries for just .50 cents.
A special fundraising event will be held at the McDonald’s Restaurant located at 191 W. Layton Ave. The event will feature a Milwaukee Polka band, red-checkered table cloths and representatives from Ronald McDonald House Charity of Eastern Wisconsin working behind the counter.
