Mequon-based Italian Restaurant, Ferrante’s Restaurant & Signature Catering will become the exclusive provider of all kosher food services at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center beginning Monday.
Ferrante’s will also provide food services at the JCC’s in-house café, CafA B Data.
The restaurant has been a long-time partner of the JCC and will now occupy space in the center’s kitchen, located on the Karl Jewish Campus in Whitefish Bay.
Ferrante’s will provide complete kosher food services for meetings, special events and activities on campus and at the Linda and Fred Wein Center for Gan Ami in Mequon. Ferrante’s kosher catering division is an extension of the company’s catering business, which began serving families and synagogues in 2000.
Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of the JCC, said this collaboration is another chance to work with like-minded partners to deliver the best JCC experience possible to all members.
Ferrante’s at the JCC will be open to the community from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday and will provide lunch service from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday.
The JCC will host a grand opening from 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 21 at CafA B Data.
