KMK, established in 1970 by Ron Malliet, creates custom and modular trade show displays. It will become a division of Exhibit Systems, but retain its branding.

Founded in 1992, Exhibit Systems is a premier exhibit and display company. It has grown 10 to 15 percent annually and last year expanded to include a full-service marketing division through a partial acquisition of Results Marketing. Exhibit Systems this year was a Master Mettle winner in the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce’s Future 50 list of the fastest-growing companies in southeastern Wisconsin.

With the addition of KMK and 10 of its 12 employees, Exhibit Systems will grow to 46 total employees. Exhibit plans to continue operating the existing KMK plant at 4005 W. Green Tree Road in Milwaukee, where it will make some infrastructure upgrades. KMK employees will move in to Exhibit’s offices in Brookfield. KMK president Ron Malliet will transition into the role of president emeritus/account manager.

“KMK has been well respected in the trade show industry for many years. Its entire team is passionate about the same things we are – creating exceptional face-to-face marketing environments and establishing long-term partnerships with customers,” said Richard Magliocco, president and chief executive officer of Exhibit Systems. “This acquisition continues our growth trajectory by expanding our in-house capacity for producing custom exhibits. We look forward to working with KMK’s customers, and introducing them to additional trade show marketing services through Exhibit Systems.”

“Exhibit Systems aligns well with our history of delivering first-class customer service and top-quality exhibits and displays,” Malliet said. “We’re excited to offer more support and expanded capabilities. Exhibit Systems and KMK are united by a common culture founded on integrity. We look forward to working closely with Exhibit Systems to ensure a seamless transition.”
