Menomonee Falls-based Epic Color, a division of Milwaukee-based AE Graphics Inc., was founded a year ago in response to more clients needing more outdoor signs and banners. After purchasing the necessary equipment, Epic employees realized they could offer clients an even better marketing opportunity by providing larger than life wall murals, window murals and car wraps.
“The outdoor ink jet printer we purchased allows us to print on just about any materia and cut into any shape we wantl,” said Erik Bradley, director of marketing and sales for Epic Color and AE Graphics Inc., “We began doing some work recreating historic photographs and other images as wall murals and window clings.”
Epic Color has created wall murals of historic photographs for the Milwaukee Public Museum and custom designed murals for the Ozaukee County Humane Society as well as other companies, Bradley said.
“The possibilities are endless,” he said. “We can print on any material and recreate pretty much any image. We’ve done wall stickers of company logos, customized murals, floor stickers, car wraps and window clings.”
According to Bradley, reproducing larger copies of historical photographs from Milwaukee has been very popular am
Epic even created a customized view for Northwestern Mutual’s Franklin facility, Bradley said.
“They literally had no view outside the window of their fitness center,” Bradley said. “So we created a view for them.”

“These days everyone is looking for ways to differentiate their company,” Bradley said. “Instead of going with traditional marketing materials we can give them the option to do something a little more unique.”
