Emteq Charity Golf Outing to raise money for CAP Fund

The seventh annual Emteq Charity Golf Outing to raise money for the Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Fund of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin will take place Monday, July 25.
The golf outing is hosted by Emteq Inc., a New Berlin-based manufacturer, at The Legend at Brandybrook in Wales, Wis.
The outing, featuring a four-player scramble format, begins with 9 a.m. registration, 10:30 a.m. lunch buffet, noon shot-gun start and 6 p.m. dinner.
Emteq’s employees, friends, family, customers and suppliers collectively have donated more than $365,000 since the first outing was held in 2005.
“We have benefitted from the community over the years, and with a young workforce, we wanted to give back to our community,” said Emteq chief executive officer Jerry Jendusa. “We want to ensure that every child has a chance – no kid left behind.”
Golfers, sponsors and donors are being sought for this year’s event. BizTimes Media LLC is a media sponsor for the charity outing. To watch a BizTimes Milwaukee video interview with Jendusa from last year’s outing click here.
