Economic development forum to focus on south side

“The South Shore Option 2.0” will be the theme of a public form to promote economic development on the south side of Milwaukee County tonight.

The forum will feature representatives from South Shore communities who will talk about their efforts toward economic growth. The event will be held at the Oak Creek Police Station, 301 W. Ryan Road.
Representatives from Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, St. Francis, Cudahy, Milwaukee County and the MKE Regional Business Park will give overviews of their development efforts and answer questions from the public.
Residents can also check out plans that will be displayed at tables for public viewing.
The forum, sponsored by Milwaukee County Supervisor Pat Jursik, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
“This forum is a rare opportunity for citizens to be a part of planning for multi-community development in one meeting and to learn about efforts toward economic growth in our South Shore communities,” Jursik said..
