Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin sold its former West Allis headquarters building for $1.7 million, according to state records.  Easterseals SE Wisconsin recently announced it has relocated to a smaller nearby space in the Summit Place office complex, a move that the organization said will provide savings from decreased overhead and operational costs.  The buyer of the organization's former 26,000-square-foot office building at 2222 S. 114th St. was Rose Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Roman Electric, a third-generation family business that provides electrical contracting services and commercial and residential plumbing and residential heating and cooling. Roman Electric will occupy the building. Easterseals had occupied the building since 2012. Its new headquarters is a 7,070-square-foot suite in the Summit Place complex at 6737 W. Washington St. in West Allis. The new office houses the organization’s senior leadership team, program managers and program support personnel and includes a conference room and drop-in space for the organization’s staff. The move reduces Easterseals’ ongoing operating expenses and eliminates its mortgage obligation, for a projected savings of about $60,000 per year, according to Peter Engel, president and CEO.
