Milwaukee-based E.R. Wagner Manufacturing Co. recently received approval for a $2 million loan from the Milwaukee Economic Development Corp. The loan is to help finance the company’s plans to purchase $5 million in new equipment.
The primary lender is BMO Harris Bank.
E.R. Wagner is a designer, developer and manufacturer of custom hinges, casters, and precision machined tubes and spacers serving the automotive, agriculture and medical industries. It also operates Continuous Hinges, a business in Brookfield, Ill.
E.R. Wagner has 135 full-time employees and one part-time employee, according to the MEDC. It expects to hire an additional eight full-time employees within two years.
