Dyer is new CEO of Trostel Ltd.

Lake Geneva-based Trostel Ltd. announced that Steven Dyer has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the firm, which manufactures custom seals, precision molded rubber products and custom rubber compounds.

A manufacturing industry veteran, Dyer brings to Trostel his 20 years of leadership experience and a track record of success. Dyer most recently served as president and CEO of Dickten Masch Plastics, which he helped expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Under his leadership, the Nashotah-based company grew from a regional molder with $47 million in annual revenue to a plastics industry leader with operations in four states and overseas and annual revenues of $175 million.

“Steve is a proven leader, and I’m confident in his ability to drive the growth and operational excellence that is critical to success in today’s manufacturing environment,” said J. Douglas Gray, chairman of Trostel.

Trostel operates a research and development center at its headquarters in Lake Geneva and has facilities in Whitewater, Wis., McAllen, Texas, and Reynosa, Mexico. The company is currently renovating its headquarters to increase operating efficiencies, reduce energy use and accommodate the latest in technical equipment, and its Whitewater facility is expanding with an addition of 10,000 square feet of storage capacity.

“I’m committed to bringing even greater value to Trostel’s customers by leveraging our expertise and commitment to innovation to offer the best product solutions for precision seals, custom-molded rubber products and proprietary compound mixes,” Dyer said. “The unique and often custom products that are envisioned, invented and created by Trostel will help fuel our growth and continued success.”
