DUECO promotes two and hires two team members

Waukesha-based DUECO Inc., the largest privately owned provider of Terex Utilities and Terex Hi-Ranger bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, stringing and tension equipment and utility trailers in the nation, has announced two promotions.

Bobbie Slater has been promoted to the newly created role of sales and production support analyst. In that role, she is responsible for booking all production orders through DUECO’s ERP system, processing change orders, analyzing production costs, generating invoices, licensing documents for the completed trucks, and dispatching drivers to deliver completed trucks. Slater has been with DUECO for 35 years.

Nichole Buchs has been promoted to sales and production support administrator. Buchs assists Slater with booking customer orders, processing customer invoices and change orders, registering and licensing trucks, and dispatching drivers. Buchs joined DUECO in 2012.

DUECO has also hired Linda Schmidt and Billy Niklasch.

In Schmidt’s newly created role of parts sales and materials supervisor, she will be responsible for parts sales and inventory management, as well as the launch of a new e-commerce site and business segment providing tools and accessories to the utility and related truck markets. Prior to joining DUECO, Schmidt worked for Toshiba International Corp.’s power systems division as the spare parts/supply chain supervisor. She has over 20 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as purchasing manager, inventory controller, parts manager and parts analyst.

As sales coordinator, Niklasch supports customer proposals and project management of customer orders through delivery. He was previously an account manager with Milwaukee-based ManpowerGroup and in business development with Titus in Wauwatosa.
