Dream dance hosts second sommelier showdown

Jessica Bell and Brendan Moore, past Dream Dance Steak Sommelier showdown champions and certified sommeliers will return to Potawatomi Bingo and Casino Dream Dance Steak house for the 2012 Sommelier Showdown Dinner on Tuesday, March 20.

A sommelier is a trained and knowledgeable wine professional who specializes in wine service and pairings.
Bell, founder and CEO of My Wine School; and Moore, founder of Rootstock Wine Company, were winners in previous Showdown Dinners held last year.
During the competition, each sommelier will pair a specially selected wine with four of the five courses prepared by Dream Dance Steak Chef Matt Baier. The menu will feature dishes made with fresh ricotta cheese and pancetta, prepared in-house.
Guests will participate in a blind tasting and vote to determine the best wine pairings. Sommeliers will explain their wine selections after the meal.
Moore is a second-level sommelier accredited by the Court of Master Sommeliers and a certified sommelier from the Society of Wine Educators. He is pursuing his certified wine educator certification, an honor that less than 300 American and International professionals have received.
Seating is limited. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and cost to attend is $75 per person. For more information about Dream Dance Steak events, or to make reservations, call (414) 847-7883 or visit www.paysbig.com/dining/dreamdance.
