After an extensive national search, Mitra Fallahi, Ph.D., has been named as the new Cardinal Stritch University Associate Dean of the College of Education and Leadership. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Fallahi leads the development of leadership and education programs at both the graduate and undergraduate levels; implementing assessment strategies for accreditation and program improvement; and overseeing daily operations of on-campus, off-site, and online programs.
Education: Dr. Fallahi earned her Ph.D. in education at Marquette University and her Master of Arts degree in English at Indians State University in Terre Haute, IN. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Pars College in Tehran, Iran. She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Educational Research Association (AERA), Association of Teacher Educators (ATE) and Phi Delta Kappa (PDK).
