DoubleTree hotel in Brookfield sold for $10.2 million

An affiliate of Suwanee, Ga.-based IPD Hosptiality Inc. purchased the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Milwaukee-Brookfield from an affiliate of Plano, Texas-based Ambridge Hospitality, for $10.2 million, according to state records.

The three-story, 177-room hotel is located at 18155 W. Bluemound Road. It was sold for less than its assessed value of $12 million, according to Waukesha County records.

The hotel’s amenities include a restaurant and 2,100 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 225-person capacity ballroom.

The hotel was previously known as the Wyndham Garden Hotel Brookfield until it changed to the DoubleTree flag in 2005, when a $3 million renovation was completed.
