Dorner Company to move HQ from Milwaukee to Sussex

Dorner Company will move its corporate headquarters from 8585 W. Bradley Road in Milwaukee to a 20,031-square-foot building that it purchased recently at N61 W23043 Silver Spring Drive in Sussex from Sussex Investments Group LLP.

Dorner Company is a manufacturer’s representative specializing in equipment for water and wastewater treatment plants, power plants, industrial processing facilities and original equipment manufacturers. The company has about 16 employees at its headquarters.

Mike Kleber of Towne Investments represented Dorner Company, and James Young of Cassidy Turley Barry represented Sussex Investments Group in brokering the sale.

“We’re running out of space at the building we use presently,” said Tim Ruesch, president of Dorner Company. The company occupies 8,000 square feet of space on Bradley Road, he said.

One-third of the Sussex building is currently leased to another tenant that will remain there in a long-term lease. Dorner will occupy the remaining 13,000 square feet of space in the building, Ruesch said.

Dorner plans to move to Sussex in late July. The space the company is moving into is currently occupied by Allora Inc., formerly TPS International, a manufacturing solutions company that is moving to a nearby multi-tenant building in June.
