Don Weber

Don Weber, New Resources Consulting Vice President of Client Relations, was awarded the 2017 Best Buddies Spirit of Inclusion Community Award at the annual Best Buddies Wisconsin Leadership Breakfast on October 26, 2017. The award recognizes community members who make significant contributions to further the inclusive spirit that drives Best Buddies. The award is based on the three pillars of the Best Buddies mission; one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Derek Smith, Best Buddies Board Chair, stated during the presentation, “From serving as Board Chair on the Best Buddies Advisory Board from 2010 to 2015, to participating in the Best Buddies Rides as well as supporting our local events, Don is the true definition of selfless. A man who has given so much of his time to our organization over the years. To say he has made a significant impact is truly an understatement.”

The award not only recognizes Don’s contributions to the organization, but New Resources Consulting’s active participation as a Corporate Sponsor. Don and New Resources Consulting have provided more than $50,000 to the organization, substantially through New Resources Consulting’s annual golf outing that supports Best Buddies.

“It is an honor to receive the Best Buddies of Inclusion Community Award. I firmly support the Best Buddies mission and will continue to remain committed to the organization,” said Don Weber. “I also want to recognize my New Resources Consulting family. I wouldn’t be receiving this award without all of the individuals within New Resources Consulting who actively help me support Best Buddies.”
