Dohmen HQ

Construction is underway on a renovation project for a 42,141-square-foot building at 417 E. Chicago St. in the Historic Third Ward in Milwaukee, which will become the new corporate headquarters for Dohmen Life Science Services.

The company will move to the building from Menomonee Falls. The project is a complete gut and rebuild of the structure. Exterior improvements will include a new main entrance at the corner of Milwaukee and Chicago streets. The project is expected to be complete this fall. Butler-based Berghammer Construction Corp. is the general contractor, Milwaukee-based DeMichele Company is the project developer and Cedarburg-based The Kubala Washatko Architects Inc. is the designer for the project. Dohmen will initially have 160 employees in the building, which will have enough space to accommodate up to 200 employees.
