Dixon sells Castings Point building

Dixon Development recently sold the 30,000-square-foot Castings Point building at 140 S. 1st St. to Castings Point Tower LLC – a group formed by Michael Dilworth, of Ener-Con Companies Inc.

Steven Anderson and Nicole Hohnstein-Allard of Anderson Commercial Group LLC brokered the deal for Dixon.

The three-story building is two-thirds vacant. WHEDA occupies the entire second floor. The first and third floors are vacant. Part of the first floor was occupied by Maritime Savings Bank until the bank went out of business.

Anderson Commercial Group will market the building to potential tenants. A deal for a 5,000-sqaure-foot tenant on the first floor is close to coming together, Hohnstein-Allard said.
