Hartland-based Town Bank, a Wintrust Community Bank, recently announced that Dennis Krakau has joined Wintrust’s Commercial Banking Wisconsin division as executive vice president, overseeing the group. With more than 30 years of experience, Krakau joins Town Bank and Wintrust with substantial leadership experience and an understanding of building long-term relationships with businesses. Prior to joining the team, he served as the executive vice president & senior market executive at Associated Bank. Krakau has been an active community leader throughout his career, serving on a number of nonprofit boards. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from Marquette University. Before his banking career, Krakau served in the United States Navy as a naval flight officer and mission commander.
