Delta Defense to move from Jackson to West Bend

Delta Defense LLC plans to move from Jackson to the former Museum of Wisconsin Art building at 300 S. 6th Ave. in downtown West Bend.

The company was founded in 2003 and began publishing a self-defense magazine focused on responsible firearms ownership. The magazine grew into a national association providing information, community, training and liability insurance to its members.

The company plans to invest $1.1 million in improvements to the West Bend property.

“We completed an exhaustive region-wide search for a location that met our needs,” said chief financial officer Jerry Noskowiak. “The former Museum of Wisconsin Art building presents unique architecture in a great location in downtown West Bend. We are very excited to move our corporate headquarters to this location. Our growth plans include extensive property improvements that provide an inspiring work environment for our team members.”

The Washington County provided a $100,000 low interest loan, the city of West Bend provided a $167,000 low interest loan and a 50 percent, five-year tax re-investment program incentive for the project.
