Dean Health Plan to enter Green Bay market

Learn more about:

Madison-based Dean Health Plan has signed an agreement with Prevea Health and St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay to offer health insurance through a managed care network in northeastern Wisconsin.

Beginning this fall, pending approval from the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance, the insurance will be sold in Brown County and the surrounding region, according to a report by the Wisconsin State Journal.
The network will also feature Prevea’s multi-specialty physician group and partner hospitals, including St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay and St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. The insurance, called Prevea360 Health Plan, will be underwritten and administered by Dean Health Plan, the State Journal reported.
