The Wrigley Field outfield will be dominated by seven new signs, if the Chicago Cubs get their way.
And while the team expects legal interference on new signage from rooftop owners, it plans to move ahead with construction on other parts of the project in July.
The Cubs unveiled preliminary designs for five new signs above the ballpark’s left and right field walls at a presentation to the media at the Cubs’ office in Wrigleyville.
