Construction begins for luxury apartment project in Oconomowoc

Wauwatosa-based Wangard Partners recently began construction of a 204-unit luxury apartment complex, called The Preserve at Prairie Creek, near Highway P (Brown Street) and Highway Z (Lake Drive) in Oconomowoc. The site is adjacent to the Prairie Creek Shopping Center.

“Located within walking distance to a grocery store and other retail shops and restaurants, The Preserve will offer a unique lifestyle in exclusive Lake Country,” said Tony DeRose, vice president of Wangard Partners.

The project is expected to be complete this fall.

“The Preserve is another great opportunity to attract residents to our community,” said Bob Duffy, economic development director for Oconomowoc. “The Preserve will allow people the ability to live within the community in which they work.”
