CompuCom to close New Berlin facility

16 positions to be eliminated

Dallas-based CompuCom will close its New Berlin facility, permanently laying off 16 employees, according to a filing with the state Department of Workforce Development.

The company expects to begin eliminating positions on Aug. 31 and continue in phases until the closure is complete by Nov. 30.

CompuCom provides IT managed services, infrastructure solutions, consulting and products to Fortune 1000 companies. The privately held company has approximately 11,500 associates around the world.

The company’s corporate communications department did not respond to a request seeking additional information.
