Community Care hires director of quality and risk

Community Care Inc., a Brookfield-based nonprofit that provides long-term care coordination for older adults and adults with disabilities, has hired Jessica Malec as director of quality and risk.

In her new role, Malec will oversee the quality and risk functions at Community Care, which serves more than 10,000 adults in 14 Wisconsin counties.

Malec comes to Community Care from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, where she held the position of regional manager and oversaw four of the eight managed care organizations.

“We are thrilled to have Jessica join the team,” said Mike Garlie, chief compliance, quality and risk officer at Community Care. “Her familiarity with the regulatory environment, Community Care and programs will enable her to make a positive impact from the start.”
