Brookfield-based Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative has opened a new member services center in Brookfield to support its health insurance customers and health care providers.
The nonprofit, member-governed insurance cooperative began covering more than 27,000 members in 19 eastern Wisconsin counties at the beginning of the year.
Local health care insurance professionals will work at the center to help members resolve any issues.
“Opening a dedicated member services center is a significant milestone for us,” said Cathy Mehaffey, chief executive officer of CGHC. “Given our member-focused mission and our growth, it became imperative for us to add staff here, in Wisconsin, to quickly address members’ questions about claims, benefits or anything else.”
