Cole Taylor adds to Wisconsin team

Chicago-based Cole Taylor Bank has hired two new employees at its Franklin commercial banking office as part of a southeast Wisconsin expansion.

Susan Jensen has been named vice president, commercial banking and Andrea Bukacek Fahnrich has been named commercial banking loan officer.

Jensen has more than 32 years of experience in managing credit and treasury management needs for Wisconsin and northern Illinois companies. She previously served as senior vice president, commercial banking and senior loan reviewer at Johnson Bank in Racine. Jensen earned an MBA at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s from University of Notre Dame.

Fahnrich has experience in credit analysis and underwriting, especially in commercial real estate. She previously served as senior credit analyst at Johnson Bank in Racine. Fahnrich was also a commercial real estate portfolio manager at M&I Bank. She graduated from Marquette University.

Southeastern Wisconsin is an attractive market for Cole Taylor, particularly with the disruption underway following BMO Harris Bank’s acquisition of M&I Bank parent company Marshall & Ilsley Corp., said Mark Hoppe, CEO and president.

“We just feel it’s a good time to get into that market and it’s really just the next logical step for us,” Hoppe said. “There are many companies that are the size and the type that we’ve banked here for many years in the Chicago area.”

Cole Taylor opened the Franklin commercial banking office in July. It now has four employees.
