Tenants of City Hall Square, a two-building 135-unit apartment complex in downtown Milwaukee, were notified recently that the property will be sold by Housing Horizons LLC, a subsidiary of Kimberly-Clark Corp., to a new ownership group that includes City Hall Square Properties LLC.
City Hall Square is located in an eight-story, 123,920-square-foot, 103-year-old building at 104 E. Mason St. and a six-story, 94,167-square-foot, 129-year-old building at 125 E. Wells St.
Information about the new owner was not immediately available. The registered agent for City Hall Square Properties is Michael Olson of Milwaukee, according to state records.
Milwaukee-based Edgewater Real Estate LLC will handle management of the apartment complex for City Hall Square Properties.
The two-building complex has an assessed value of $9.5 million, according to city records.
The sale is expected to close on Friday, Aug. 31.
