City Birthday Party to celebrate Milwaukee’s ‘Hidden Riches’

BizTimes Media invites readers to attend the City of Milwaukee’s 167th Birthday Party.

The City Birthday Party, which has become one of Milwaukee’s premiere networking events, will take place Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Grain Exchange Building in downtown Milwaukee at 22 E. Michigan St., from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The theme for this year’s party will be “Celebrating Uniquely Milwaukee: Hidden Riches Revealed.”

Milwaukee has recently been called “the perfect place for a hip city break” and described as home to entertainment and other venues that “blast Milwaukee stereotypes to smithereens” in recent lifestyle articles.

The City Birthday Party annually draws top civic and corporate leaders, including Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and members of the Milwaukee Common Council.

The party is presented annually by the Milwaukee Press Club.

This year’s online contest and promotional opportunities will feature “Hidden Riches” that make Milwaukee a unique place.
