ChromeTech to double space in Franklin

Expansion of facility underway

ChromeTech of Wisconsin will double the size of its facility at 10020 S. 54th St. in Franklin with an expansion set to be complete by October.

Oconomowoc-based MSI General Corp. is handling the design and construction work for the expansion project.

ChromeTech provides industrial plating services to customers in a number of industries, including hydraulics, agriculture machinery, heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace and more.

The company currently has 19,619 square feet at its facility. The expansion will add 21,607 square feet of space to be used for storage and assembly.

Construction began last month and is set to be completed in October. Once the project is complete, the facility will have a total of 41,226 square feet of space.
