What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of? My fitness routine consists of 1.5 hours in the morning, 5-7 days per week of morning weight lifting and cardio work. I also do one hour of cardio in the evening.
Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life? As we all get older, staying fit has allowed me to enjoy the hobbies I love at the same levels as when I was younger.
How does personal fitness affect your work life? Keeping with my fitness program has allowed me to reduce the stress that comes with my responsibilities. It has also added a new energy level that helps tackle the rigors of today’s business climate.
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization? Having fitness a part of our employees life helps to bring the energy and attitude that makes for a much better workplace, more productivity with less off time.
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative? It is never too late to start a personal fitness program. Find one that fits your wants and grow it from there. Over time you will wonder why you didn’t make the time to do it earlier.
