Chris Rebholz – Christopher Morgan Fulfillment Services and BindMax Proteins LLC

For most entrepreneurs, running one business is a monumental task. However, for Christopher Rebholz, who has been dubbed a “serial entrepreneur,” the more, the merrier.

“I certainly have a love for starting and building new businesses,” he said. “It’s what I have been fortunate enough to do for the better part of the last 20 years.”

Rebholz, president and co-founder of Christopher Morgan Fulfillment Services and co-owner of BindMax Proteins LLC, used a slightly different name to describe himself.

“A glutton for punishment, as some may say,” he said.

Rebholz said he makes time for each of his endeavors by hiring and then trusting a talented upper-management staff, allowing him to take on a visionary role. An “open-door” policy and strong team culture helped Christopher Morgan grow from $400,000 in revenue in 2002 to $5.6 million in 2007.

“When those around you are the ones who build and succeed, it’s hard to take credit for it,” he said.

In 2000, Rebholz’s twin daughters were born, weighing just four pounds each. One was suffering from a serious heart problem and given little chance to live. With treatment from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, both daughters survived. The experience had a profound impact on the personal and professional lives of Rebholz and his wife, Kelly.

“In the midst of praying that our children stayed here with us on earth, we made a pact,” he said. “That if we got through this and became successful, we were going to give it back. And that’s what we’re doing.”

Rebholz supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin, the MACC Fund and Variety-The Children’s Charity of Wisconsin, among others. He has played a major role in a $160 million addition now being built at Children’s Hospital and will be honored with the naming of the Rebholz Family Promenade upon completion.

“Being in business, the end goal really is philanthropy,” he said.
