What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?
45mins – 2 hours of cardio four times a week. Weights: 3-4 times a week.

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
Allows me to clear my head and think. Many of my most important problems have been solved during a long run.
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
Reduces stress, helps with problem solving. When I have a problem or challenge that I am having a hard time finding an answer to, I will often go for a run. Halfway through the run I arrive at an answer and will sprint my way back to the office to put my idea down on paper.

No

I have worked with UW-Milwaukee’s Corporate Wellness Program.
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
Stress reduction, fewer sick days.
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
Its not news. Working out helps you feel better. It will help you out of a rut and often times you didn’t even realize you were in the rut.
