Children’s Hospital topping off

A topping off ceremony will be held this morning for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin west tower project at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Wauwatosa. Children’s Hospital is building a 12-story, 425,000-square-foot expansion, which will add 58 beds, bringing the hospital’s bed count to 294, and will have room for 72 more beds in the future. The expansion also will feature a larger pediatric intensive car unit and a larger Herma Heart Center. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2009.
