Chicago to add tourism offices in Brazil, Germany, Japan

    Chicago will broaden its efforts to attract international tourists by opening sales offices in Brazil, Germany and Japan this year, Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced Thursday.

    The city contracted with sales agents in London last year, and did the same in Toronto and in Mexico City last month. It also has sales reps in Beijing and Shanghai.
