What has fueled your company’s growth?
“We do not fear change, but let the constant transformation of our industry energize us as we learn to adapt. With every change in the business and IT world, we evolve and look for new ways to deliver the ideal, cutting-edge solutions for our customers. CCB was an early adapter to cloud computing, which gave us the advantage of perfecting methodologies others are just now discovering. As we saw a growing need for full-circle technology solutions, we built an IT services department into an already successful company. The new department allows us to be a one-stop shop for our customers by going beyond the stage of hardware and software procurement to also delivering the implementation and management that keeps it all running.”
Do you plan to make any changes to your company?
“One of our strategies is the development of a new sales division to invest in the local corporate, health care, and K-12 sectors. We recently hired director of sales Chris Varsek, who is already leading a team of highly skilled representatives and building business in each of these industries. This August marks the launch of our e-commerce store, which will give customers competitive pricing and a convenient way to source and compare hardware and software models. It will create a customized and user-friendly shopping experience.”
What is the outlook for your industry?
“Cloud computing continues to advance and evolve—with the growing need for scalable and enterprise-quality technology, more and more businesses will make the jump to the cloud. A more mobile environment means new security threats, so there is a concerted push in the industry to meet these needs as they emerge.New items from Microsoft, such as Windows 10 and the Surface Pro 4, are bound to shake up the status quo and cause businesses to rethink how they operate.”
What is your company’s most important growth strategy?
“Our focus for growth is specific to responding to the IT service needs of business organizations throughout southeastern Wisconsin. We are intentionally growing our engineering team to be able to help manage, migrate and implement new information technologies that will add to economic growth for our clients while decreasing their data vulnerability. Staying current from an IT standpoint and managing environments are the areas that customers need our help with most, and that is where we are growing.”
