Catherman named president of WOW Workforce Development Board

Replaces previous president Francisco Sanchez

Laura Catherman was named president of the Waukesha-Ozaukee-Washington Workforce Development Board.

Laura Catherman has been named the new president of the Waukesha-Ozaukee-Washington Workforce Development Board.

Catherman previously held positions within the organization including vice president, operations manager and planner.

“Laura has been with the organization for a number of years and has always shown great promise,” said John Heyer, board chair.

Catherman replaces previous WOW Workforce Development Board president Francisco Sanchez.

“I am grateful for this opportunity to serve the employers, job seekers, and residents of Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties at such a critical time in workforce development,” said Catherman.

The Waukesha-Ozaukee-Washington Workforce Development Board is a 24-member, private-sector led group comprised of business, education, labor, and community leaders that serve as one of Wisconsin’s eleven regional Boards. The WOW Workforce Development Board works in collaboration with local elected officials, economic development corporations, businesses and the community to address workforce issues in the three-county area.

Andrew is the editor of BizTimes Milwaukee. He joined BizTimes in 2003, serving as managing editor and real estate reporter for 11 years. A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, he is a lifelong resident of the state. He lives in Muskego with his wife, Seng, their son, Zach, and their dog, Hokey. He is an avid sports fan and is a member of the Muskego Athletic Association board of directors.
