Freedom Physical Therapy Services S.C., Fox Point, has hired Cassie Young, DPT, CMPT to our Fox Point and Mukwonago locations.
Young received her Doctorate in physical therapy from Texas Women’s University in 2016. She is a certified manual physical therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She is currently enrolled in a fellowship program in orthopedic manual physical therapy.
Young is passionate about providing excellent skilled care for every patient she works with. She believes it is important to find the root cause of the patient’s dysfunction in order to resolve the patient’s pain. Much of her training has emphasized a thorough examination looking at all potential factors causing a person’s pain or dysfunction, and in providing effective hands-on treatment. She is particularly passionate about the role the spine plays in many orthopedic conditions.
She spent much of her time in athletics growing up and has personal experience in rehabbing from sports related injuries. She found her initial interest in becoming a physical therapist when undergoing physical therapy for ACL reconstruction and meniscus tear while playing soccer and volleyball.
Young loves spending time with her husband and her dog. They love all things outside and enjoy hiking, playing games, traveling, and spending time with her family.
