Canadian REIT buys another suburban office building

    A Canadian real estate investment trust acquired its fourth office property in suburban Chicago, investing about $110 million since early 2012.

    Adventus Realty Trust bought a 120,927-square-foot building at 111 S. Pfingsten Road in Deerfield, according to the Chicago office of brokerage Cushman & Wakefield Inc., which represented the Vancouver, B.C.-based REIT. Cushman & Wakefield’s press release did not disclose the price, but an update to investors on Adventus’ website previously said it had agreed to a $15.5 million acquisition in Chicago’s suburbs.
