U.S. HealthWorks, one of the largest operators of occupational health care centers in the United States, announced it has acquired four health care centers and two worksites from Sensia Healthcare in Wisconsin.
The centers, U.S. HealthWorks’ first in Wisconsin, are located in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties and bring the total number of U.S. HealthWorks medical and worksite clinics to 179 nationwide in 16 states. Two of the centers are located in Milwaukee at 11414 W. Park Place, Suite 100, and 875 W. Layton Ave. The other centers are located at 5040 W. Ashland Way in Franklin and at 16505 W. National Ave. in New Berlin.
Financial terms of the transaction, effective December 1, 2012, were not disclosed.
The facilities will continue to offer a range of occupational healthcare services, including diagnosis and treatment for injury and illness, preventive services, pre-employment and post-offer exams and screening, and return-to-work rehabilitative care.
The acquired facilities’ names will change to U.S. HealthWorks, according to a spokesman from U.S. HealthWorks.

U.S. HealthWorks, a subsidiary of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, is one of the country’s largest operators of occupational health care centers. With 179 clinics and worksites in 16 states and more than 2,700 employees – including approximately 800 medical providers – U.S. HealthWorks centers serve more than 12,000 patients each day throughout the country.
The company plans to expand its services to more people with the added facilities and grow its staff as needed, according to the spokesman.
U.S. HealthWorks centers help employers control work-related injury costs through quality medical care and effective management of claims and lost work time, specializing in early return-to-work programs, injury prevention and ergonomics programs.
